THE STORY OF THE PEARL

WE ARE INSPIRED BY THE STORY OF HOW A PEARL IS FORMED. 

Wondering how we came up with "Oysterdaze"? 

A foreign object invades an oyster, creating discomfort for the sea creature. The oyster is under immense stress, wanting to rid itself of the pain. Using itss natural defense mechanism, the oyster produces a substance called nacre, which coats the object layer by layer with a smooth surface. Once enough nacre has been produced, one of earth's most beloved gems is born (from pain to beauty). 

We as people have "foreign objects" that appear in our lives, interruptions that make us stop in our tracks (anxieties, sadness, loss, discrimination, changes, +)

There are barriers that cause us emotional and physical pain. Using our own willpower, our own drive to fight, and with a little outside help, we too can turn our pain into something both ourselves and the world find beautiful. 

THE REWARD FOR ALL OF OUR HARDWORK IS A "PEARL" A REMINDER THAT WE DIDN'T BREAK UNDER PRESSURE.
